This well-known piece by Claude Debussy is the eighth piece in the composer's first book of Préludes, written between late 1909 and early 1910. Each part has a few notes as possible with the goal of six notes. The Clarinet’s do not go over the break.

Performance Notes: 

This piece is written in the key of Eb major. The grade 0.5 band will find challenges in the “Debussy” harmonies but will enjoy the beauty of this melody. There are some accidentals but none that the Grade 0.5 Band will not be able to learn. Included in the parts is a condensed score which is authorized to copy for festival performance.
