Violet's Etude

A delightful medley of four well known beginning band method songs: "Hot Cross Buns," "This Old Man," "Wild Horses," and "A Grandfather Clock."  The composer spent ten years teaching beginning band and these are his four favorite tunes.  There are interesting variations and modal chord progressions throughout the piece.  An excellent concert piece where the students can play tunes they already know in a little more challenging arrangement.  Scored with the option to play with the band arrangement.
